Important information on the right of withdrawal

According to § 312 g para. 2 no. 9 BGB (German Civil Code), there is NO right of withdrawal for contracts „for the provision of services in the areas of accommodation for purposes other than residential purposes […] as well as for the provision of other services in connection with leisure activities, if the contract provides for a specific date or period for the provision“.

Our paid courses, seminars, excursions and other events are provided on a specific date or period and are sometimes linked to accommodation. Insofar as these events serve solely or mainly leisure purposes, there is therefore no right of withdrawal!

Only events that mainly serve to prepare for a professional activity therefore have a right of withdrawal of 14 days.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The revocation period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract (i.e. from the day of the confirmation of registration).

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, telephone, fax or e-mail).

You can use the sample cancellation form attached below for this purpose, which is, however, not mandatory.

To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, immediately and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract.  We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged any fees because of this repayment.

Special notes

Please note: When you register for an event, the corresponding preparatory activities for the event (booking/reservation of accommodation, preparation of scripts, etc.) already take place. If you register for an event so late that the service is already provided in whole or in part within the cancellation period, you must pay us an appropriate amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the point in time at which you inform us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal with regard to this contract compared to the total scope of the services provided for in the contract. If you have already attended the event, this is the total event price.
